Plantsalt is a low-sodium, plant-based salt derived from saline coastal plants such as Salicornia and red algae. Our patented process combines the best of nature and technology.

What is the secret behind Plantsalt?

Plantsalt utilizes a secret that nature has perfected over millennia: Certain coastal plants and marine algae store the salts dissolved in seawater directly in their cells. In doing so, they store not only potassium and sodium, but also a variety of other minerals such as magnesium, calcium, iron, zinc, selenium, and iodine.
